Place whole potatoes in water (add one inch more of water) and add salt to water.

Bring to a boil and then lower heat.

Cook for about 20 minutes until done when you can pierce with fork nicely.
Timer: 20m - 4
When cooked, blend potatoes in a mixing bowl to desired consistency.

Add milk, buttermilk, sour cream, salt and pepper and blend.
